Inspiration

Inspired by my summer internship at Lucky Magazine and my academic interests, I have decided to create a digital log - a work which will incorporate my love of fashion, media and writing. I am a sophomore double majoring in Media & Society and Writing & Rhetoric. My studies are inspiring and career focused as I anticipate working in the magazine industry. Specifically, I hope to work for a fashion magazine!

Fashion has always been an obsession of mine. Growing up, I would run to the mailbox anxiously waiting for my favorite fashion publications to arrive. Upon receiving them, I would read them inside and out, devouring every last word and image. My appreciation for the magazines and flare for writing has led me to discover my dream job, to become an editor of a fashion magazine. My internship at Lucky reinforced this. On my path to achieving this career goal, I hope to inspire others with my excitement and appreciation for fashion, media, film, television, music, and art.
