I am so excited for the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic to come out! Between the witty expressions in the trailer paired with the song Disturbia, I can barely contain my excitement. I practically grew up reading the Confessions of a Shopaholic series and now these fantasies are becoming a motion picture. Isla Fisher is adorable and seems like the perfect fit for Rebecca Bloomwood. Her character is hilarious and although exaggerated, the movie will be clever and entertaining. I doubt it will be as good as The Devil Wears Prada, but the fashion appears to be bold and unique. I can’t wait until February…

A Vintage Gem

Flying A, founded in Copenhagen in 1994, has a mix of vintage and contemporary attire. The shop is now is located in Soho at 169 Spring Street. Its threads and accessories will catch any fashion lover’s eye. The wide selection of unique boots is a big enough reason to check out this store. Also, Flying A has great t-shirts (both new and old) and lots of items to pair. Unlike many vintage stores, the environment is open and inviting, not requiring one to dig through racks. Don’t forget the awesome bags – a reusable nylon-plastic blend with a zipper and the "Flying A" logo.

The Veronicas

My new music obsession is The Veronicas. They are a pop-rock band based in Australia, consisting of twin sisters Jessica and Lisa Origliasso. I saw them in concert this summer when they were on tour with Natasha Bedingfield and Kate Voegele. I enjoyed their "danceable" music but recently became addicted to their upbeat songs. Their music is the perfect girl rock out jam. Listen to their songs!
